GRAND FINALE FOR HERRISLEA HOUSE HOTEL CATS APPEAL FUNDRAISER

Over the last month Herrislea House Hotel has held a series of successful fundraising events in support of the Community Action for Trauma Support (CATS) appeal. In total, 150 people have attended four events and raised £2,642.00 for the worthy cause.

Marjorie Williamson, proprietor of Herrislea House Hotel, said: “We have enjoyed four fundraising nights over the past two months, to raise money for, what we consider to be, a very worthy cause.

“The first two events were in the Phoenix Restaurant. We provided the food and drink and our invited guests showed their appreciation by providing a donation to the appeal. For the next two events, we asked our guests to turn out to the Café Bar in fancy dress. Again, we provided the food and drink and the guests donated generously to the appeal.

“We are delighted that so many people came along and helped make the events such fun and, more importantly, donated so generously. Undoubtedly, the scanner will directly or indirectly help some of us in the future.”
