At Herrislea House Hotel, we offer a choice of 13 individually designed en-suite bedrooms, all designed with your comfort in mind. Each room is centrally heated and is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, colour television, telephone and online computer links.

This cosy single room has a spacious bathroom and a large window providing a good view of the surrounding area.

Next door, another single room, equipped with fridge, and decorated in soft, calming colours enjoying open views of Tingwall Valley

Room Three
A spacious family room with a double and single bed with views overlooking Tingwall. The layout creates a lounge area with TV and tea and coffee facilities.

Room Four
Around the corner is room four, with fresh bright colours and the morning sun to wake to, one of two rooms facing East.

Room Five
A single south-facing corner room with an unusual window enjoying a wide panoramic view, which also overlooks the hotel entrance.

Room Six
A lovely, large room with a double and single sleigh bed and with excellent views over Tingwall’s farming valley. Comfortable chairs give a fine feel to the room and create a small area for watching TV.

Room Seven
A favourite large double room with white and blue Victoriana wall covering, cupid tiling in the bathroom and a large picture window overlooking Tingwall Valley and the main hotel entrance.

Room Eight
A double room with fresh light décor and a picture window overlooking Tingwall’s farmland.

Room Nine
A spacious double room that’s south facing position and calming décor gives it a particularly light and cosy ambience. The room also has a spacious double sized ensuite shower.

Room Ten
Looking south over Tingwall Valley, this single room is bright and airy, and quietly situated at the west end of the hotel.

Room Eleven
A double room with excellent views towards Laxfirth Voe.

Room Twelve
A bright, single room again overlooking Tingwall and further afield to Laxfirth Voe.

At the top of the house – Room Thirteen
Our family room situated right at the top of the house is a firm favourite, with specially built, traditional Shetland Box Beds in Northern Pine that add to the charm. We’ve thought of everything to make a family stay at Herrislea as comfortable as possible, with a kitchen facility including sink, microwave and fridge.
